Matsumoto Farm has been cultivating ginger for over 120 years since the Edo period, offering the renowned "Shimabara Centennial Ginger." Grown in soft, volcanic ash-rich black soil and nourished by Shimabara's spring water, which is among Japan's top 100 waters, this ginger is tender with minimal fibers and features a mild yet delightful spiciness.
